The Brisbane Alliance Francaise is a French group that offer information on France, but more importantly for the kids offers French language classes from age 3. This is a fantastic way to expose your child to French language and culture and they can learn the basic beginner steps, all the way up to being able to speak fluently. Each week children join with their teacher to do work on learning common words and phrases, understanding the differences in language and get to practice with each other. They can also undertake specified pronunciation lessons as their skills develop and this would set them up to visit France or French-speaking countries as they get older. The gift of a second language cannot be underestimated and French lessons with the French Alliance will give your children high quality skills.
