 One of the best and lesser known tours in Launceston is the Boags Brewery Tour. You have two choices: the hour long tour for $18 or the hour and a half tour for $25. After the tour you choose, you get a free tasting of beer. The longer tour also includes some cheeses to go with the tasting. The tour itself was really thorough and full of information. They covered the entire history of beer making in just over an hour, which is really impressive. I have been on a few beer tours before and this one was one of the best. The only downside is that they don’t do tours on the weekend. Since Boags has won several awards for their tours, they fill up pretty quickly. You really need to make a booking.
