Booderee National Park - Sydney

Booderee National Park Booderee Botanical Gardens are owned by the Aboriginal people and is the only one of its kind in Australia.

The vast gardens are more like their own vast park rather than what some of us city folk think of as a garden.

There are over 80 hectares of cultivated land featuring some of the most impressive flora and fauna.

What I like about these botanical gardens is that you don’t have to be a botanist to enjoy them.

It is really relaxing to just walk through the park and admire all the various plants.

You could easily spend a whole day within Booderee National Park and the Botanical Gardens.

At the very least, you will want to spend a couple hours walking through the various nature trails which loop into 3.7 kilometers.

This is also a great place for observing birds. You may want to reserve a tour guide ahead of time.

It is really interesting to hear about the various plants and how they were used by the Koori people.

I suggest that you pack a lunch and make a picnic here at the Gardens.

At the part known as Scribbly Lawn, there is a picnic area which even has electric BBQs.

It is sheltered so you don’t have to worry about the weather going bad on you.

Shoe Polish - Autolustrant Self Shine Collonil with Lanolin

Its the best shoe polish I've used. The bottle has a little sponge on it so you apply without making a mess and it's fast and clean. The finish comes up really nice on black dress shoes.

You should be able to buy it from your local shoe and leather repairer, or alternatively places like Big W.  Theres different brands that offer similar products and I've used a few different ones but this is the one I recommend.

Also I've purchased the same thing in a slightly different package that is in a clear glass bottle but it's the same product.
