Hands On Art is a non-profit organization providing children and their families’ access to artistic development and experience. Supported by the Queensland State Government, they run programs for children aged 4-14 and also provide seminars for teachers. HOA employ established artists to assist in the development of imagination and artistic sensibility in children and also train up and coming artists. Offering a place of enjoyment and a new world to disabled and regional children is a key motivation for the program. Creating a world rich with inspiration and innovation by reaching out to children and encouraging their personal expression has made this program a great success.
