 Home Valley Station is a where the movie Australia was shot. While I am admittedly not a fan of the film, I still thought that the scenery was amazing. When I found out that Home Valley Station is actually a working cattle station where you can go on tours, I arranged to stay there for a night with my family. The farm offers so many different types of tours you can go on, from fishing trips, cattle mustering, horseback tours, bird watching safaris, and more. The tours are pretty pricey, but it is still worth checking out the area. You can explore a lot of the land by yourself without having to pay for anything extra. There is also a restaurant on the cattle station which is absolutely divine. It is all local bush food but like you have never tried before. I was really impressed with the different seasonings that were used and would like to have them in my kitchen too! If you want a real outback adventure, the Home Valley Station tours will definitely deliver. However, you will still get a really comfortable and stylish room to retire to after your day mustering cattle.
