My wife and I use Mick fortnightly we each get a full one hour massage. We've been using Mick for more than 12 months now and are extremely happy.  We've recommended him to all our friends and he's a regular in our group. 

We've also tried quite a few diferent therapists over the years but we're very happy with Mick.

He also does corporate seated and table massages at Skills Tech tafe weekly.

 Deep Tissue Massage

Focuses on realigning deeper layers of muscles ad connective tissues.

It is especially helpful for chronically tense and contracte areas such as stiff necks, low back tightness, and sore shoulders.

The benefits of deep tissue massage therapy are:

 Trigger points massage

Trigger Points

A trigger point is a hyperirritable spot that is painful.  It is called a trigger point because it "triggers" a painful response.  But a trigger point is more than a tender nodule.  It affects not only the muscle where the trigger point is located, but also causes "referred pain" in tissues supplied by nerves.

Trigger points are located in taut band of muscle fibres.  The grigger point is the most tender point in the band. The therapist will locate and deactivate them using finger pressure.  One technique is to pick up the uscle fibres in a pincer grip.

Being in the childcare industry often results in back pain. I have tried to seek various treatmens such as physio and massage, however I only really started feeling better once I commenced my regular treatments with Mick. Not only has my back pain stopped, the massages also help me to relax and release any tension from a long exausting day. I would recommend Mick to anyone.

We are using this opportunity to express our gratitude and appreciation for the table massage and chair massage services that Mick provides at DETA Tafe Client Services office. Ten of our staff members have received treatments by Mick and everyone is very happy with the results. Many of them have stated they feel much better after the massage treatments Mick has provided. We all think very highly of Mick as he is very professional in all his conduct with his clients and is very good at what he does. Just the very fact that he started his massage services here with 2 people once a fortnight and moved to 10 to 12 people once a week in a very short time, speaks for itself.

We thank him very much for the exceptional level of service he provides and hope he keeps up the good work.
