 Matso’s Broome Brewery Broome has a lot of dining options to choose from. The problem is that they are all pretty hit or miss and the known good ones tend to be overpriced. There is one sure bet that you will absolutely love: Matso’s Broome Brewery. Yes, you will go there because of the beer but the food is also really good. The dining menu is an upscale version of pub food. Of course, there are lots of sea food dishes like grilled salmon or prawns but also a full array of pork, beef, and chicken. What made this pub food really stand out was the use of seasonings so that each dish had a distinct flavor. Now, let’s get to the beer. Matso’s Broome Brewery is run by a couple named Martin and Kim Peirson-Jones. These two are completely dedicated to the Broome and Kimberley area. That is probably why they brought in a German master brewer named Roland Bloch. This guy has experience throughout the world and you can taste it in the beer! The Hit the Toad lager and ginger beer and probably the most popular choices, but there are tons of different flavors. The waiters at Matso’s are all really helpful when it comes to choosing the right beer. You can even buy yourself a case of beer to take home with you or enjoy on the beach the next day.
