The Melbourne Museum offers something for everyone, with an entire gallery devoted to children you can spend the day exploring the fabulous exhibits and displays.

With both travelling and permanent exhibitions, there are regular changes making this a destination worth visiting more than once.

In the children’s gallery there are a range of exhibits just for them, as well as a playground outside encouraging parental participation to play traditional games like hopscotch and hula hooping. There are plenty of hands-on experiences that children can have in the gallery.

In the rest of the museum you can see Dinosaurs and the first computer as well as many other exhibit topics that are designed to impress and educate every visitor.

It’s free to enter for children and adults are just eight dollars.
