Ripple Restaurant and Bar - Tasmania

Bay of Fires Ripple Restaurant and Bar If you want a really good but unpretentious meal, you should check out Ripple Bar and Restaurant in St Helens. The restaurant was opened in 2008 and has been thriving with both tourists and the local community.

The menu is French and Australian and everything except the bread is made in house. Many of the ingredients are local, like duck eggs, vegetables and herbs.

This is a place to eat an entire meal where every dish compliments one another perfectly.

There is a beetroot, orange and walnut salad that goes with pork. Snow peas with a tapenade and cherry tomatoes are served with rack of lamb.

The choices here are just incredible. These are the type of meals that are usually served in fancy restaurants for an extravagant sum. The prices at Ripple make it a place for anyone to eat. The atmosphere at Ripple is almost as good as the food.

The restaurant looks more like a sea-side home and will make you feel comfortable upon arrival.

There are tables set up under umbrellas for shade and you can enjoy a sea-side view while eating and drinking. Ripple is a hit with many people so you may want to call ahead for a reservation, especially on weekend nights.
