The State Library

Melbourne Australia

Recommended by : valu_melbourne

The State Library is an historic old building located in the heart of Melbourne. Inside is much more than just books, this is more like a museum for the intellectual, with stunning displays and historical exhibitions available. Through school holidays there are programs for children that run throughout the day, as well as access available to literacy programs for those who need a little extra assistance. Along with this you can find movie screenings of both contemporary and musical nature, with access to lectures and guest speakers available regularly. The State Library is a great place to spend a rainy day but it’ll keep you contented no matter what is happening outside as you peruse the amazing range of books and exhibits. Opening Hours: Mon - Thur 10am - 9pm, Fri - Sun 10am - 6pm

This is a small retirement village for Serbs in the suburbs of Sydney. It is a good place for the Serbian diaspora to get together in their golden years and drink turska kafa and rakija.
