If you are not an avid skier, you will like that Treble Cone has packages for beginners which offer classes- for both children and adults.

For the rest of us winter sport fans, Treble Cone has some really challenging trails and an elevation of 828 meters from base to summit. Only 10% of the slopes are for beginners and the rest are split between intermediate and advanced level skiers and snowboarders.

If you don’t ski, you can get a sightseeing ticket for the 6 seater chairlift. The view at the top is really beautiful. The café at Treble Cone is one of the best in all of New Zealand.

Alongside the standard hot chocolate and coffee, they also offer fresh sushi, salads, sandwiches and wraps. It is a bit strange to eat sushi in an alpine paradise though, especially since you’ll probably need something heartier. That’s why the café also serves up hot dishes like lamb, stir fried veggies, and other treats.

Treble Cone is open from late June until September, from 9am-4pm. There are childcare facilities available.

Located in the east of Sydney, Giotto art café is one of the best cafes in the neighborhood. It is not just another café but it is an "art gallery" café.

Featuring beers showing the traditional Belgian brewing techniques, this is a fantastic alternative to the local on the corner. It feels up-market and menus such as the Beer Appreciation cocktail selection suggest that is exactly the case. The restaurant’s seasonal menu features some mouth-watering selections at very reasonable prices.
