 Kakadu National Park The Warradjan Cultural Centre is worth visiting while you are in Kakadu. It represents people from the Murumburr, Mirrar Gun-djeihmi, Badmardi, Bunitj, Girrimbitjba, Manilakarr, Wargol and other clans. I was really impressed with the gallery which displays arts and crafts from the region. Most of the art is made by local and aboriginal people. There are quite a few displays which have explanations about the region and culture. The whole aim of the Cultural Centre is to give people a feel for the local Bininj culture and I think they really succeeded. There is also a shop where you can buy all sorts of different items. It is a good place to pick up gifts like t-shirts or cds with traditional music. They also have smaller artworks like bark paintings for sale and a large collection of books you can buy.
