Services Recommended believes that the community should have a voice as a whole and values a combined information source that is genuine, unbiased and moderated by the community. It highlights things that people personally like about products and services they recommend. Primarily it must be of value to the community as a whole while also providing specific value to multicultural, community service and other groups.

Services Recommended was founded to provide free high-quality information strictly on genuine recommendations made by the local community about services and products they have used.
Services Recommended is a privately held business that makes a profit by providing additional promotion services to companies that have already been recommended by the local community through the service.
